gitsum, The medium springs would be like 1.0's. Clutch shoes will take more abuse from heavier springs (like 1.1's) then lighter springs.

I only ran the 1.1s because its supposedly the hot set-up at my local track. I'll definietly try lighter springs this week. I'm all for launching out of the corners as hard as possible but I think I can actually shave some time with a softer set-up....

I'm also running the mediums in my truck... Which, like jason said, are like the 1.0's...

Anyone have some play between the rear arms the hinge pins holders? I have the 2mm shim in and there is more play than I would think there should be, but a 3mm shim is too tight.

just take the 3mm shim and with sand paper make it thiner until it fits and it is not tight.

Hi i am running an xb8ec at my local indoor track and it is carpet indoor track which can be slippery and high traction in some parts of the track . So could some one help me with what diff fluid i should use .?

My clutch setup works real well, i have been using it for a few years, the ones i use now are, 3 stock Xray or mugen alum shoes, 2 med hard or hard springs and one .95 light blue Kyosho spring, this gives the best of both worlds, hard clamping and smooth take offs, you should try it to get over jumps with short take off space

Okay guys, I had the chance to try out the soft springs and fluids, and all I can say is I have some hard Springs on order. I much rather this car with the stiffer suspension. Its as if it was ment to be driven that way
