I asked Rocco about the correct springs to use with the 808 shocks and he said that you need to use the front and rear springs to get the correct spring rates. This makes sense because the Front Blue-Grey spring rate is .80 and rear is .57.
I'm still waiting on my parts order to do the conversion, but I compared the front shocks of my 808 to my xt8 front shocks. The xt8's are not much longer, so running ft springs shouldn't cause excessive preload adjustment. I bet if you added the Jammin long shock ends to the 808 fronts, you could probably use them on the front of the xt8.
