Just like full size car manufacturers, Xray comes out with a new buggy every year: The TQ came out March 2006, the EC came out March 2007, and now the 808 comes out Feb/March 2008. And I'd bet an 809 will come out around March 2009. Do you get upset when you purchase a 2008 Ford F150 and then they come out with a 2009 Ford F150? Then how can there be anything wrong with releasing a new buggy or update once a year? I'd be pretty disappointed if Xray just sat on their thumbs for two years while everyone else passed them by. If you want the latest and greatest for the longest period of time, you have to purchase the new model when it first comes out. If you wait months to make the purchase then that brings you closer to the time when something else comes out. I usually buy a new kit every two years and that strategy works well for me. For example, I bought the TQ, didn't upgrade to the EC, but will get the 08 kit. Then I'll skip 09 and get a new kit in 2010. That way I'll get my money's worth out of any purchase by running it at least two years and anytime I upgrade it will be a big jump and well worth it. |

no ones forcing you to go buy one are they? if they didnt bring a new model out you would be quite happy with what you have now wouldnt you?..so keep running what you have and enjoy! dave |
