No small orings on any of the conical gears, the car will always react the same.

also the o-rings are temperature sensitive (expand and contract). In the heat of the day it will feel a certain way, then as it gets cooler it will slow the diff action. Having the o-ring in there will exaggerate that effect.

my xb8 seems to have a lot of bump steer (out)

yeah i noticed this too.
i'm pretty sure its supposed to be in there as it has a stabilising effect on the front of the car when landing jumps etc wnen the wheels toe out slightly!

Actually I think the XB8 has very little bumpsteer. Now A MBX5 has a ton. My XB8 has just about the same as a friends 777. Double check everything.

Let me get this straight guys. Most guys are finding that the Kyosho Blue springs are working well? Is this the spring that Gene is running? There's no light blue or anything like that, that could confuse me when I go to order some, right? :oops:

Also, do these springs work with the stock XB8 spring perches and such? Does anyone have the part numbers for exactly what is needed to run these springs plus the part# for the springs themselves?? If you knew what I had to deal with you would understand why I'm asking for the part #'s. Its like I'm talking to the wall when I'm trying to explain to the people at my LHS what exactly it is that I want :roll:
