XRAY - Model racing cars

Is there any kit with all the option aluparts out there,
or do i have to buy them separatly.

Would be nice if i could by all the parts in a kit, maby to a lower price.

"FLEXIBLE MUD GUARDS" The kind that comes with the other company cars which will go nameless. CF just don't stand a chance. Make it before someone else does and you'll lose profit on it.

I would like to have the "l0si-type" air filter manifold that brings the air filter away from the engine cooling head and brake linkage. Standard air filter manifold puts the filter just next to engine cooling head (restricts engine cooling) or so that the brake linkage touches it - don't like it!

Because it Is one of the shortest width chassis (sometimes it is to flex),
We improve stiffness with this aluminum bar on the side-guards (home made)(we are not experts but it helps) could be another way to stiff the center of the chassis.




And also the radio box from this car is around 4 years old, it should have an improvement or another box as option! Better Isolation is what we needed!
Just like this regular plastic box isolated and ready for micro-wave for 2.5€ (it’s a shame I can´t fix it to the chassis eheheheheh)!
Plus no-color so you can see what´s happen inside!
I know sometimes the heat inside the box may cause humidity, but now with the lipo batteries (with more electronics) the box need a better isolation!
I damaged 3 LRP lipo´s tx. because of the dust and corrosion inside the battery (electronic part)!

Also the CVD´s and pins have too much wear!

This rubber is a good idea! (just should be a way to protect the bearing as well)


More details have been updated with the new 2009 version, as gear box, colar between bearings, shock rubber dust protection, air-filter more oval, and the deposit just still missing the fuel round spilling prove!

These are just ideas I am not judging anyone. And I’m sharing with you, without any compromise!

Well here we are in 2009, many good changes have come along over the past years.
Have my new XT8 09 now, some good improvements too.

And some things just don't seem to change and here is the hit list for improvements:

A water proof radio box; still the same 'ole same. Lipos are here now and so are 7V servos, the battery box should be 5mm wider and 5 mm longer and 2mm higher to accept lipos and allow for some padding: I am using this; Capacity: 2300 mAh
Weight: 87 grams
Li-Po cell arrangement: 2S1P
Norminal voltage: 7.4 Volts
Dimension(mm): 85 x 30 x 16mm
Provision for a single rear body post.
A new body shell that actaully fits the 09 correctly. (Nice shell on the new D8T with the engine head cut-out reinforced)
An updated manual and parts exploded view showing all the improvements, not the crudy small black & white photo upgrade copies as provided in the kit.
Replace the self tapper screws (909359 & 909372) with something with a 2mm hex drive head.
Quality Titanium turnbuckle kit
Chassis contact areas for droop screws a little larger

Apart from that, not a bad 'toy' to play with!
