Two ways to help, softer clutch spring so it engages earlier to use lower torque of engine. Or alter gear ratio 16/41 or maybe 17/42 as it will kill some of the snap of the engine so to make it easier to drive. |

New cars are usually displayed at the Nürnberg Toy Fair which takes place in February. Production usually begins few months later and it can take even more time for you to get your car. Depends a lot when your season begins. For an example we have summer and winter season here so no point in delaying with buying the car hear. I think the wisest thing would be to replace the K-car ASAP Don't try to find excuses not to The XT8'09 will be in 2010 just as good it is today. Join the club and enjoy the car. BTW - maybe not the right topic to ask a xt8 question |

Thank you for your help Lauri! I think I won't hesitate my change. But first I'll try to get rid of my Ky****. Which will probably happen at the end of the year. And ohh... Sorry for the wrong topic I didn't notice that XT topic is also available. (silly me) And sorry for bad English too. |

whats up guys. I recently put one of my friends on to Xray cars and I always outperform him on the track in the truggy class against his rc8t so... as he has been wanting to enter the buggy class I recommended he buy a 2010 808. He did and now Im hearing of all this diff bearing failure stuff. Is that front AND rear or just front or rear? Also I read in Bren's Q&A thread that there is a new pinion to come out that allows for 3 bearings to support the pinion instead of the supplied 2 with the collar in between. Is this part available to us now or is it still in production? How common is this problem and are there any remedies to fix this before we assemble the kit? Its disappointing to hear this kind of problem but Ive had nothing but positive experiences driving my xt8 so once its sorted out Im positive things will be fine. Every kit has its kinks in the beginning. A quick response will be appreciated so we can get cracking on this new kit. Race weekend starts this sunday May 2nd. |
