Just take your time to make sure the gear mesh is proper to prevent any possible damage to the gears. When I installed mine, I needed to shim it closer to the bevel gear. (2 x .2mm shims) I found without any shims the Pinion and Bevel could pop in and out of gear. Intern if raced like this, rounding/grinding of the end of the gear teeth would happen.

i had to put 3 in mine but is perfect now i am running it with 2k oil in it is great on low bite tracks and grass but i think it makes the car a bit grabby on high traction like astro turf and you dont really notice the gains and am faster with the standard diff

Finally got my aDif on the way.

I loved it in my XB8EC on the high bite smooth clay indoor track. Gave me more turn in off power and allowed me to exit the coner harder and sooner.

The 808 already has much more agressive turn in than the TQ and EC did so I'm not sure if this will be better or what but if it let me get on the gas sooner/harder on the corner exit and basically have the front end pull me out of the corner I'll be happy.

Id love to try and get a bit more turn in on the XT8. Anyone know what parts #'s I need to get to convert my old EC active diff to a XT8 active dif? and where to get them? I'd like to try it in the truggy too and since I have the one from my EC still sitting here...

Also... ANother tuning option Id be interested in for the 808 is the smaller front dif gear. I really like the 38T gear in front on the slippery tracks in the XB8ec. Anyone know if there will be a small gear option for the 808? If so Part# and source would be very cool too.

1- 2,5,3 More low speed and off power.
2- rear toe from 2.5 - 3.5 and 3 to 1 anti.
3- No
4- No
5- Yes 2 on the gear side
6- 90
I'm going to Chicago in 3 weeks and I will try 7 in the center for even more drive out of the turns, 1000 in the front and change rear toe to 3. The car still had a slight push off power on one of the turns, that's why I'm thinking about the changes.
