Good fuel consumption engine?

the guys hitting the 10 minute run times are just using std OS Vspec engines some are on 13t bells the others are on 14t & i've personally seen these runtimes on quite a few tracks! Slough, Gt Yarmouth, Pendle 3A amongst others :shock:

they will do it guys you just gotta try it :wink:

track is kinda small for buggies.... 50x100ft

I've been running an RB S5 with a WS7II Nova pro race head and Jammin JP-1 pipe. Werks Power clutch with Carbon shoes and the medium spring 1/2 turn in from flush. Great off the corners and I hardly ever lose a drag race. I am getting about 7-8 minutes on a tank. Better all around motor than my WS7II for the shorter tracks we are running here in Florida lately. Hope that helps.

I now they dont lie when they say the V-spec can make more then 10 minutes. I have always driven with RB WS7II and this year I have tested an V-Spec and you can run 9 minutes without a problem it doesnt matter how hard you drive, with the right carb setting you can make over 10 minutes easily. My WS7II dont even come close to this I have to do the pit stop at 6.40 to be sure not run empty. The V-spec are running really good with piccos 069 pipe. But if the weather are really hot the engine wants a lot more fuel.
