more toe out in the front will give quick turn in.

less rear droop will give more steering also.

Try 2.5 rear toe also if 3' is too much. (.5 insert).

also you can raise the rear ride hight some.

Thanks Gene  How does raising the rear ride height give you more steering if you don't mind me asking? :P Also with your Speed 2 clutch are you running the stock black shoes with the .85 springs? How come you don't run the white shoes? Wouldn't they give you better fuel economy, and more power delivery?? Also if you could please help me out with a baseline on the clutch as far as where to set it to?? Thanks for the help, its much appreciated!!! :D

J.W.

Also make sure you don't have too much front brake bias.

As Dave noted, the 3k up front will probably do the trick.

hey ya JW. :D

well try my set up on the first page will help give a baseline set up...
out of 17 different tracks we hit with 11 different Xrays it's close to a set up one may find in a LOSI or ASSOCIATED base set up they include in the kits, this one is kinda for the XRAY,by no means is it a cure all but a "Base Line" to work from...
from there you can fine tune your car.....
now this can very from your track? but this was what we gathered a basic from California Nevada Arizona,Utah,Washinton state, and New Mexico..
I hope it will help... :D
but going higher in center diff will also give more steering as well...now keep in mind the car is "Light" so keeping at around 7k in center is a good bet...with 10k in the center the car is an "Animal"!!
now other changes from my set up on the first page you may want to try is going to the #1 setting (lower pos.) in front rollcenter,I have the base set up at #0
3k in the front will help with steering BUT the steering may become eratic if you jump on the trhottle to early exiting the corner cause the diff may unload exiting the corner....say if the inside tire lifts...usually not too much a problem but always nice to note....
and as well as someone mentioned also check your front brake...
if there is alot of brake in front the car will also "Act" as if it will push and not steer as well....
one thing to note for a basic idea on how things will react in racing conditions for those that have the game "Grand Turismo" take a car and try different setings you'll have an idea of how and why the settings do what they do...sounds funny but it does work....
2.5 in the rear will give a good balance of both steering and traction if you need more rear traction try running the front hubs in the "Forward Pos."
this will help as well...but do only one thing at a time! the car is sensitive to changes!! also if your car feels close as you have your set up now but not "Quite" there leave alone and try adjusting your swaybars as these will have a good deal of effect on the car as well.....
hope some of this will help? :D :D
