try running 553 rather than 755. see how that helps. I'm still running 10-7-7 in my EC from when I built mine. I'm running about 2 sec slower than experts and I'm no where the driver of an expert. but it's all in how the buggy is set-up and what works for you. not another person..

What would I basically notice with lighter diff oils in the front and rear then what I have now?

I have a pretty good understanding of how diffs work from tunning my race Revo which I had the center diff in as well but all those rules seem to be different with buggy.

Basically I woudl think that lighter oil in the fronts will push less into a turn and lighter oil at the rear would allow for more off power steering. What I get from diffs is that the inside wheels loose traction in a turn so in the front you want the inside to stay on power but the rears outside to stay on power as to not power up one side of the buggy and spin out.

I remember when I had too heavy of oil in my revo and it pushed bad into the turns so when I went to lighter oil it was perfect. I still am going to drive this car more before I make changes since I think there is more to learn about it before changing too many things.

Whitey4311,

When you drive it into the corners, do you let it roll through or do you power through the corners? just curious

I believe you are correct, so that it can rotate in the corners and be more foregiving. off throttle

This is my way of thinking......if you had thicker oil then it will lock up the whole diff causing the outside tire to spin about the same speed as the inside tire, but if you go to thinner oils....it will allow the inside tire to "diff" out more than the outside tire. With that being said....I like the front of mine to somewhat lock up in the front when going through a corner.....it acts like it pulls the whole front of the buggy around. Same goes for the Center diff and the rear diff.

But it could give a little push off throttle......but for me.....I'm trigger happy and i like to have mine drive with ON-power set-up rather than off power

I hope this makes sense
