XRAY - Model racing cars

Hey Aaron! I run the RG exclussively now to on Small/Medium tracks. the engine has TONS of bottom end so I switched to a 14 tooth clutch bell which gave me enough top end to hang with most of the big boys even on longer straights. I also use a Nova Racing head to keep things cooler. I get 10 min run times in practice! I LOVE the RG even though they usually don't last me more than about 4-5 gallons max that's still one killer engine for the money.

As far as Fuel Line routing, I route just like you, but out of nowhere the fuel filter exit nipple started cutting my fuel line where the air filter sat on top of it. I assume it was from coming down on jumps. I had to swivel the fuel filter so the line goes under the rubber part of the air filter. Just FYI.

Yeah Freak, Thats why I rerouted. I didn't like the idea of the air filter suffacating the lines, and the clip that holds the lines melted stuck onto my header around the engine. The line stayed good though as it didn't melt. My new line setup, I like a lot. It stays out of the way of everything and it yet to cause any problems. No contact with the bell for me and thats how I have run all my rides in the past.

If you look VERY closely at the rear end of the buggy, you'll notice that you can see the back edge of the chassis. The plastic protector (Rear Bumper if you will) is pointed upward, instead of down to cover the rear of the chassis as it's supposed too.

Like the other guys that do it, there protecting the beatiful XRAY engraved Logo....LOL !

That is too easy to see.
It is up side down.

Some of the team guys put it in upside down on purpose so the screws holding the diff case can't back out. I don't do that because I have never had one of those screws back out and if you want to adjust the rear toe you have to undo the bottom screws on the chassis as well to remove the bumper.
