The downside to ceramic bearings in offroad conditions is that they don't react well to fine dirt getting in. Since your problem is blown bearings, using ceramics to reduce the amount of heat build up only serves to cover up some problem in your existing set up whether that be improper shimming, idle too high, or something else and still may not last as long because they're more susceptible to dirt.

Excessive clutch slippage is the #1 reason for clutch heat buildup. Your .9 springs may not be strong enough to keep the shoes from slightly contacting the bell at idle and low speeds which creates a lot of heat. Try going up to 1.0 springs and see what happens.

Correct. I already stated two posts ago that the ceramics are very sensitive to dirt and they scuff easily. What I was answering was a question that was asked about internal motor bearings

Not advisable for internal bearing for ceramics.

Too much vibration for offroad and the buggy crashes big time, there is a high level of possibility which the bearing will break.

Also, with normal steel bearing, you would be on a safe side cos if there's a problem with it, it ould normally gives you indication, informing you that the bearing need to be change or whatever.

But if it's ceramics, it just gone whenever it wants to let go. Cos the balls aren't made of steel. Too brittle for offroad purpose.
