Derek ran the molded foams last weekend in soft K2s and they worked great!!
Plus as mike stated they were MUCH easier to mount. I mounted 8 sets of tires last friday and by my calculations I saved about an hour total by not having to trim the standard foams.

I think/agree as what's been said already about air only in tires, tires would need to be strengthened for tires to maintain their integrity or something inside the tire like softer foam or I think there's like some flexible honeycomb stuff out there. Just take a wheel and tire only, don't have to glue it to the wheel, take finger and move tire side to side and see how that feels...junk right? Then if went route of stronger tire like mentioned all the extra weight would outweigh any(if any) benefits of air filled tires. I think it's too easy to compare r/c cars to the real world of racing where most everything doesn't work out the same way or at all. General rule of thumb, softer foams give more forward bite and better in straight line bumps, harder foam gives more sidebite and better in bumps while turning.

jesse you may have "hit the nail on the head" for me. I have all my experience with full size racing and am reletivlly new with RC. I do comapre RC to full size at times and you are right it doesn't always match up.thanks

I would like a tank with fuel overspill extraction to the bottom
as there is really nothing forseen here
fuel just stays on the chassis

some left and right thread hub nuts
and a nice juicy 1piece motormount
