I am in love with my Xray, slept with her last night after my race because the car was so consistant that I am just extremely excited about running it. Here are my laptimes from the main.

The reason that I find that important enough to post is because for onroad that would be a killer run, for offroad that is almost unheard of. The only reason there is the 21.94 lap near the end was because of a lap car that caused me to get out of line for a turn.

The car was extremely easy to drive, I wasn't having to guess what it would do at all, almost brainless on driving it.

I have been so let down by the coating (or lack there of) on the Mugen shocks. After one run you take it apart and the oil is silver with metal floating in it (totally none transparent).

The Xray shocks after 3 gallons, the shock oil was slightly discolored but that is normal, what is important is the lack of wear on the inside of the body, still looked new and the outside hold up very well from spring rubbing if you can even locate a mark. I didn't show wear at all until I got to a muddy track that flung dirt onto my spring, than if I looked real hard I could see some scratches. A mugen shock would have been destroyed looking already and accumalating some gunk on teh outside from wear.

In other words, Xray has picked a choice coating for our shocks, very nice indeed.

I had that same problem with MBX5 shocks. The shock oil would turn like a gun metal grey after just a few runs.

tried to purchase about $70 in spares, i'm in indiana

it is $20.73 for economical + register and $23.93 for fast... you think there would be a greater difference between the 2 prices

no you dont have to pay to register and i bet it has to do w/ where you live? but im not shure because im in illinois? and the most ive spent is $11 on a $60 order??? try to email them and ask them on there contact link. ive used them a dozen times and have had the best luck w/ them.

I was wondering if I should buy this buggy for christmas. My local hobby shop said no to buy it because your company was merging with another one and that if I bought the buggy that parts might not be available for it or at all. I still think I should buy because the buggys design is really cool.

i'd go for it

the XB8 is the newest best designed best specced buggy on the market at the moment!

this is the car that sets the standard in 1/8 rallycross & as far as i know the company is looking good for many years to come!
how can they lose with a quality product like this
