Jason,

Thanks for all the help this weekend. I couldn't have finished as well as I did without you telling me how to setup my suspension. Congrats on your win in Truggy.

And Rocco, I'm waiting on my team shirt.

Jason,

I saw your latest setup for Mikes, for what I think was the HARC race. I have a few questions. In the rear when you move to the bottom outward hole what does that accomplish vs the same hole on top on the shock tower? Also what are the stock sway bar sizes that come with the car? I think this setup better suits my driving style as I tried 3 in the front, couldn't wheel it too well. I always look at peoples cars at the track and I was looking at Smiley's and Jeremy's car and their wheels are really cambered, but when you ask they say like negative 3 or something, When i do negative 3 on a camber gauge, my wheels do not look even close to that and if I try to make my wheels look that cambered i start to lose traction, can you provide any insight on why that is? One last question sorry for picking your brain, trying to get good at this stuff, but what makes a car nose dive on jumps and what can be done to correct?

Any word on if there will be anything new for the 2011 XT8? I need to buy a new chassis and don't want to spend the money on that if there will be a new truck out in a couple of months.

I am running the 10 spec with the active front diff. I have yet to run into anyone running the active center with the front or the center at all for that matter. I now have the center active diff and was wanting to try it. Whats a good starting point with the fluid as I've read that you must run the center active with the front active. I run 1k front active under geared, 4k center standard and 2k rear standard.

Thanks for the response...I'd like to know what oil you run in your front active and in what conditions do you run it? I'll play with the center active starting with 2k. I'll also go to 2k front active and see what happens. lol I'll post my findings.

In my experience, I only run it in smooth high traction stiuations. Also, I start with 2K oil in mine. If you run it on a bumpy track it will make the car fairly difficlut to drive becuase as each wheel catches a rut it will want to shoot that way. On a smooth track it is pretty good and will act like a 4wd electric car with a front one way almost.

But like Jason said best thing to do is try a back to back run against your std. diff and see what you think.
