XRAY - Model racing cars

I didn't think it was that bad. I could still tune it but it just never felt as good as my older conversion. I still think it was a good buggy and all. Maybe it was that I was just used to my old 808 and that's why it always felt better. I do think you are on to something about the weight balance though. Biggest difference between my conversion and the 808e was the battery and motor position. I always ran the weight as far forward as I could. I tried it with battery forward and back and having as much weight forward as possible was always what I liked the best unless it was a wide-open track. The motor weight being farther back may have something to do with why it felt different for me. Weight forward made the back end slide more controllably. Weight back seems to make the back end hold more traction but then break loose quickly and come around more quickly.
