XRAY - Model racing cars

Rob I think with several big races coming up over the next several weeks I'm going to leave mine be so I can make sure it holds up fine under normal US style track conditions. It hurt my feelings bad enough that a china made buggy broke mine and I don't want all the Losi geeks to ask what that aluminum piece on my buggy is!!!

you no from what i have been reading xray should have let everybody on here go to the plant and build another buggy call it 808 and 1/2 im a noob to xray i have a driver/bash driven style and i only broken a wing mount on my xt8 i lost 2 e=clips before the 20min main and i ran the whole race with my 2 e-clips on the left front it was something that i did but do you see me crying that xray should have taught me better about checking my stuff before i race alot of people on here are very negative about xrays product when i 1st came to this forum i asked Why should i buy an xray ? now i can answer it.... its because its the best product out yes the 808 is new and it might have bugs that needs to be worked out but stop crying about it and its ok to ask ? about a product and its good to post problems But just stop the negative stuff about xray they should have done this or that crap people GO MAKE YOUR ON buggy and let us drive it

This is the only case I've heard of the diff case breaking. Not sure of the exact number of 808 sold as of yet. I would think there would be at least 100 kits sold worldwide. Thats probably being really conservative to. So that makes your chances of breaking a case in the 2% range. I really don't see the need to start modifying a perfectly good part. I have 5 races on the same car without changing ANY PARTS. First race was on one of the hardest and most abrasive surfaces, I've been on in the last 8 years. I watched another sportsmen driver really put a beating on his 808. The 808 was one of the few cars that had zero breakage during the JBRL event. Until I see or hear of more diff cases failures. I really wouldn't worry about it, or consider it a problem. I think you said it best Mader, "Just a timing thing". Seems like you always break something off a small crash or hit. When usually the part was already broken or cracked from a previous crash and just didn't notice it.
