I've changed mine to the Hong Nor Cir clips:- item number 315s 7mm C ring.



Had no problems since doing this.

It does keep them flatter and I've not had any problems of leaking since changing them over.

I just changed my shock oils for the first time last weekend and the stock setup G clip with Mugen shock boots and after 6 races they were clean as a wistle and no leakage at all.

I'd say the stock setup works very well, unless I got lucky. I used to run a Jammin CRT and the C clips worked well. Just wondering if the flat will cause less of a seal at all?

The jammin C clips have a hole in the end of each side where it is open. I used to use a dentist tooth "pick" that has a little metal point to remove and replace or re-install the C clips. Then put a dab of CA glue on the clip to keep it in place. Worked great on the jammin shocks.

I've been wating to find out if the new Jammin Big Bores would fit on the Xray. I'd love to see Xray come out with captured shock O rings in some new Big Bores like the jammin's. I hear they are the nicest on the market right now.
