I remember that on my other truggy there are small washers that go on the pins of the fly wheel before the clutch shoes go on. I got a new flywheel/clutch shoes for my XB8, but can't find the washers... do i really need them?

Um yeah.

If not the entire surface of the shoe will drag on the flywheel. You can possibly get by with some from a hardware store but I woudl be sure to use something.

I just can't seem o find anything thin enough. I found the right diameter and size from an AE car, but they are too thick. I have to file them down.
