What shock pistons did you use? I used 1.4 2 holes up front and 1.5 2 holes in the rear with 600 oil and the truck hardly ever bottomed out, it had tons of pack, to much actually. I went down to 500, and it still had plenty of pack and was a bit more reactive. I'm down to 400 in it now and it is still fine (light blue springs now). The kit tires are pretty awful, I would only keep them for practice. Check out what the fast guys at the track are running and get the tires they use. Crimefighters are probably the most universal tire out there, or the Werks lugz. If it really does have a full inch of dust everywhere on the track you might want to look into some step pins (pro-line mulchers), or see if the track is watered on race days as that would change the traction conditions significantly. For diffs is the track is really low grip mabye try a lighter diff oil setup, mabye 5/7/2. I found the stock setup to be really really super fast on hard clay tracks, but not quite as good on loose tracks.

I'm using the pistons they have you build it with along with the hard blue springs. I was hitting hard like there was no springs on it. I have the spacers in also 16 in the front and 19 in the back.

Everyone is using crime fighters but it was rough terrain so not many people had much grip. I will probably get another set of XRay rims and put some crimefighters on them. Do the Kyosho rims work? I prefer those over the dish wheels.

THe track isn't watered down, I suggested it but there's no way to water it down...eventhough there's a pond right next to it. Are you using the Xray oil for the diffs?

Where is the truck bottoming? On the jump faces? Or on landings?

The only wheels that give proper performance are the Xray wheels. If you want to use "zero" offset wheels you will have to buy some hub extenders so that the track width will stay the same. If no one has lots of traction then don't expect to be able to get much more than they have, max grip is generally a function of the track surface (considering the truck is setup up right of course).

I am using all Xray cst oils.

4ft drop - I know my truck will bottom from there easily...very rarely are you going to land from that high on flat ground...you want to downside the jumps if at all possible. If I overshoot a double or something and I am up 5-6 feet or so, it definately bottoms, but if you stiffen it up to the point where it does not bottom, it will be way too stiff for the rest of the track...just something to consider..
