so if you dont mind me asking what would be gained from doing this??? excuse my ignorance

it seems to do a couple of things.
it gives you a tad more on power steering and a ton(some people have said to much) off power steering

it makes the front end alot more forgive to it eats up bad landings better.

lightens up the car almost 2 ounces in the front making the car feel heaver in the rear.

some hobao yeam drivers have done this exact same thing and had the same results.
i myself will reserve judgement

Looks like it is bolted thru the shock tower.

let's the frontarms move more about
which is sometimes good for handling
like the losi 8ight and lightning2 pro buggys
who drive good and forgiving
but better use the TQarms
which are stronger and the new V2 caster inserts too..
