International Travel (team drivers)

How do team drivers from U.S. travel for international races with their equipment?
Do you ship it over well ahead of time? and would you ship just the buggies? I would think sponsors would have tools for you to use while you were there.

Just wondering what all you have to go through.

it would be nice to know what a day in the life of a team driver would be before and during race day.

this is a very intriguing question. i would love to hear a little about a week for a pro driver. preperation(sp) and such for going to a big event.
