DIFF OIL HOW FAR TO FILL THEM

Hi guys just a question on the level that you fill diffs to on my old XB8 i used to fill right up and when itg came to doing oil again it was farly clean since i have been filling it buy the tq spec it seems to go black very quickly and smells slightly burn :?:

i am useing 555 557 in diffs...

MBXB8, I usually fill them up to about 75% because you have to give the oil a little room to expand when under power.

I was told to full them up just over the cross pins. Make sure you work the diff a little while filing it so it flows down into the case. This is more important with the thicker oils.

The TQ kit says indeed, just level with crosspins.
