You want MINIMAL end play on the clutchbell. Just enough that it moves. But, it has to rotate freely without it binding.

What engine are you running? Switch to the regular 3-shoe Xray clutch as it's a no-brainer compared to that V6 you're running. Run Mugen 1.0 springs with the Xray 1.71 Alum. shoes. When you pull full throttle, does the car spit and sputter for a few seconds blowing tons of smoke and then gradually speed up? If so, it's just way too rich. Lean the top end a few hours at a time as suggested and you should see a definite increase in the power of your engine. Just don't go overboard with it and lean it too much.
