XRAY - Model racing cars

Well there is always two ways to look at that too nitro. The other side is if you have no fast local guys that have support from the factory, but one fast guy who is winning all the national races, and thats selling a lot of cars, how long will the people who buy those cars, run them if they cant get pretty immediate help when they need it? How long would it take before most of them possibly got frustrated and ran a car where there maybe was more local help?

Honestly I have no idea what XRay has planned. Meaning I dont know if they want to start small and get a lot of local fast guys etc. Who by the way I think a lot of us on the team have potential to win some major events. But whatever they have planned I have a lot of faith in how far they have come so fast for, as far as I know, never even have been in the offroad market. And that XRay will win it's fair share of races and be around for a long time.

That's true Frosty. All I am saying is that as a manufacturer you have to come from BOTH angles if you want the full potential of your car to be realized. So far, they have only been successful on one side of the coin.

I truly believe that with all other things being equal, the XB8 is the best buggy available. Right now, people who think like me are in the minority in the USA and it's up to XRAY, its supporters and customers, RC America, and the race team to change that opinion.

I agree with Frosty. I live in an area where a faster Xray driver races. Guess what I sold close to 100 buggies last year. I not only sell the product, I race the product. Everyone knows the car is one of the best engineered cars on the market. the quality of parts is off the charts. I can't keep them in stocks and parts sales is good. I'm trying very hard to get the product out there to people. I hope it shows.

The XB8 is the most popular high end buggy at our local track. Alot of guys who have pretty different driving styles can get the buggy to work for them. It must be doing its job because we have 6 TQ kits on the way that are all spoken for .

Same here. There are 3 people that I know of who have jumped ship with their old buggies to drive an Xray. That along with a good 6 or 7 others that run the 'Ray down here.
