XRAY - Model racing cars

I have a question for those of you who are using this part. Did you have to drill it out to fit ball bearings for the brake cams or did it come already set up to use a 5x8 flanged bearing? Or is there another size bearing you can use without drilling out the brake cam holes? TIA

Slick, Yes you do have to drill them out to use the ball bearing, I think 5x8 size bearing works. It comes set up for the bushings intead.

Here is the picture of my carbon plate (upsidedown), I think trick is similar for aluplate. I used 5x8 flanged bearings. Be sure those holes become straight when drilling them.

How come those holes doesn´t come drilled with the correct diameter??
I have just ordered that plate and it kinda sucks that I have to drill them holes before it´ll fit nicely. Please let me know.

Because Xray uses plastic sleeves on it (which are smaller)
That bearing trick is DIY and actually not supported by Xray

Ok, but is like crucial that I do it or can I get away with the stock diameter on the holes?
