For any of you club or team drivers that race both the XB8e and XB8 is there much difference setup wise. I am asking as there are more XB8 setups and I am wondering if these would be a good starting point for the XB8e?

Just increase your shock oil thickness for a heavier electric car. Use 1 shade stiffer springs IE: 3 stripe on electric and 2 stripe on nitro.

Pay more attention to the patterns you see in those pro setups. Write down track conditions when you see them switch to a certain hinge pin setup etc. You'll see a pattern to the starting setups and race setups. Try to figure out exactly why they set the car the way they did. Don't just blindly copy setups. Never learn anything that way.

IMO, the only confusing setup is adjusting roll center with the hinge positions up,down/in,out. They need to spell that out a bit better.

FYI: The pro setups at big events might be useless to you. Blue/black groove setups are useless at a loose dusty club level track.

Thanks for the advice, I will have a look at some of the setups and take into account the changes you suggest.
