Inboard:

Longer and higher - Less camber roll = less traction through corners but more stable car and easy to drive on high speed turns

Shorter and lower - More reactive car, more twitchy and less stable through high speed turns, more camber roll. May grip roll on high speed turns (depending on track traction)

Outer (hub shims)

The higher (more shims) the more camber roll you achieve (basically this balances out the height of the inboard roll centre so the more shims the more camber roll and effectively more mid corner grip you will gain.

And also, sliughtly off topic. Why did you ditch the Tamiya?

i ditched Tamiya for a few reasons

i had had 3 TRFs and was sick of the extreme wear of the cars , the parts support in europe is carp and there is 4 or 5 guys at my club running Xray T2 009 and they went well and shared set up's , when they all moved to the Xray T3 i watched and they all got quicker and the car was well planted

so i followed and my cer is awsome , just waiting for my ECS axles and i will be off chasing them

i was having problems on our long fast sweeper after our straight , the rear comes round if i am slightly off the grip line

i have our club champions set up in the car but he never makes a mistake so he doesnt feel the problem ,

i was told if i raise the front roll centre slightly it would help ??

is this so and what is the be best way to increase the roll centre ??

i will try to post my set up on here tonight

the diff is as loose as it can be without slipping and it is nice and loose

i will try the +0.75 blocks tonight as i am opening the track .

i am using =0.00 front and rear blocks , 2.0 degrees camber and 0.5 front toe , the rest is as per the instructions

shock oil is 500 front 400 rear and 2 hole pistons

i looked at your set up for Carpet wars at maritime and it is almost what i am running

i used to run 0.5mm under the front block and 1.0mm under the rear block for the TRF for some anti dive is this possable for my Xray also ??

Try the +0.75 blocks and see how you get on, I wouldnt advise anti dive as I have never really seen any driver use it on an xray car.

If you are browsing my setups password is: jelly on all of them

If you are still getting some problems then put the kit 4mm shims in the rear although I felt when I tried this it make the car really lazy and boring to drive however it was incredibly stable. And for a low traction track I could see it working.
