Post subject: | Foam tire camber set-up question |
I have a question regard front camber for 10.5 foam. I am using Jaco double pink/orange front tires. I am using Andrew Ellis' IIC 13.5 setup. Using 2 deg of front camber, the inside diameter of my front tires was a little more than 1mm smaller than the outside diameter on both tires. the Xray set up book says to adjust front camber until the tires wear evenly. Do the team drivers get even tire wear with 2 deg of camber? Does the fact that I am using 59mm or 60 mm tires make a difference? Thanks, Carter The set up worked great by the way |

double pink orange tires, the out side ring "orange" is considerably harder than the inside "pink" which would cause your inside to wear faster, most people these days use double pink all around, I run 2 deg up front and 3-3.5 in the back and get pretty even wear, my out side is usually a little smaller. I don't know of anyone who cuts camber into there tire's for electric, thats more of a nitro thing. hope that helps. Sukh |

I'll have to try double pink in the front and see. That does make sense. Thanks, Carter |
