Stock Motor Gearing

Hi,

I am going to have a go at stock, i was hoping somebody could advise me on a gear ratio. I have a T1FK (Low ratio), and a Demon P2K 27T Stock motor. Gonna be racing on rubber tyres on a tightish carpet track. I would gear my 10 turn on 18/96.

What gearing do you guys that race at Don Valley use?

James, we run on a carpet track which is 20m x 10m and gear at 22/96 or 21/93 depending on layout.

I race on a very tight carpet track with the same motor and run around 8 overall gear ratio

i don`t use p2k jobbies but i do use a monster @ 9.8-10.1 FDR on 3 indoor racing clubs ,t27`s down here in cold kent
