Not impressed with quality of some parts in XRAY T2'009 EU KIT. (1) I found one deformed (no hex head) Grub Screw #901308 which the model shop is replacing. (2) Now I find that 3 of the 4 T2 Alu 5mm Ball Ends #303431 used to secure the Anti Roll Bar ends are badly threaded and the grub screw can't be screwed in far enough to bite when the Roll Bar is inside, so I can't tighten and the Grub Screw just goes round and round. Yet another day waiting for parts to be replaced, driving Friday is looking unlikely. Everyone keeps saying the Xray Kits are pure quality, well seems not... |

I think you have been unlucky Lucas. I am on my 5th kit, an 009, and across all 5 there has been one "faulty" part, which was fixable with a shim and was replaced within 48 hours. And everything has gone together like a dream with no fettling. Spot on for me And I also remember immediately after the 008 came out they issued a free fix to all purchasers re a problem with the belt catching on the pinion grub screw, which could be fixed anyway by filing down the head. And they followed that up with another free upgrade for everybody, targeted at those who were having trouble getting to the high gearing ratios that the new brushless motors demanded. Pretty damn good if you ask me. |

Maybe I have..... (3) One of the little shock absorber O-Rings wasn't a complete ring, I had to super glue it together |
