Anyone try to use the lower holes on the FK bulkheads with the new XRC chassis? There isn't room for the pivot blocks to go down, so what to do? Of course I can dremel away, but wanted to know if anyone has tackled this problem already. |

My issue is that I've lightened my car significantly and I'm also using a VERY planted front end setup which is giving a lot of front grip, with very little front end roll and now I need the rear to roll more to compensate (which is hard with the extra rigid chassis). I've been able to get away with it by using a combination of VERY soft rear tires (equivalent to 30 shore and softer than pink) and spring setup (lt blue using both upper and lower inner most shock mounting holes. I just found out that I can't get the soft tires at a cheap price anymore (only one set left ![]() I've always been one to buck the trend in anything I do and try something new and different, so my setup isn't anything like the factory guys (although I have to complement them on being great sports when it comes to them evaluating the issues I'm working out, while knowing I'm not following there lead on the base setup. Thanks guys!!! ![]() I'll be dremelling away tonight and I'll try the harder tire with the lower rear roll center this Thursday in practice. |
