![]() hello, Just got my t1raycer last month and raced it twice in the carpet, there is one driver in our club that broke his C-hub and its really hard to get parts in our local hobbyshop since he decided to order one I decided to order too to save us money, and alas when I raced my T1raycer it hit the wall and broke the C-hub its a good thing I ordered one for spare,my question now is Can I install a pivot ball instead of the C-hub and If it will fit what else do I have to do and is it more sturdy than the composite C-hub? Thanks any input would be highly appreciated. Cachupoy |

interesting question yes piviot ball suspension will bolt right on to the t1r i have seen in done, many people believe it is stronger and is to a degree but alas instead of breaking a c hub they strip the front piviot balls right out of the arm, also c hubs are available in 3 strengths for more flexablitlity or more ridgidity, also they sell aluminum c hub suspension i recomend that, i run a converted t1r with the 6 cell graphite chasis and allumium c hubs and low ratio pulleys, also i run the spring steel wheel out drives. http://www.teamxray.com/teamxray/produc ... egoria=647 |
