This seems to be a common problem with the T2 009. Including my self I know of a couple of guys who have had this problem. Best of grooving the pin and thread locking. I would suggest this be a revision that XRay consider making to the T2009. Did your couplings come apart while driving the car? Its possible that you have damaged the drive shaft or coupling setting up a vibration which can't be over come now. Let us know what XRay say. Mark. |

strange to hear about this problem guys. I put little Locktide and the set screw never comes loose. I believe that if you make flat on the pin, than the set screw can not become loose, but Beany did it and he is still facing to this problem. I do not think that different axles will help. Just make sure that Locktide is working properly. I spoke with the team and nobody had this problem |

Hi guys many thanks for reading my post and responding to my problem i tried different thread lock and ground a flat on the pin i think i have solved the problem now and used the axles out of my 007 which are round and not milled down on two sides on the 009 so there is less chatter the car is more stable on corner entry and exit if any body else has the same problem i recomend this solution |
