Hi, I am planning on doing some experimentation with the roll centres. Page 25 of the Setup book has a table at the top with 4 boxes. I have a query on the the same subject comment in each of the 4 boxes. EG lowering the front roll centre, "decreases weight transfer at front of the car,but increases grip" Does this mean descreases weight transfer away from the front under acceleration AND decreases weight transfer to the front under braking, or just one of them? Does the increase in grip just refer to the front? I can work out the other 3 boxes with the answer to this (I think:D) |

Roll center changes affect the weight transfer side-to-side when cornering. Lowering the front RC increases side-grip at the front. |

OK but lowering the RC surely means more roll which infers to me more weight transfer side-to-side. The manual says it decreases weight transfer which is why I was reading it as relating to front/rear not side/side. Althouugh now you mention it it is obvious ![]() |
