XRAY - Model racing cars

Hi guys I have just bought and setup my first car. It is T2 008. I want to use for onroad stock class 540 brushed engine now. I need to change the size of spur and pinion. I was trying to use Spur 84 and Pinion 27 and this is not possible. I can use 84/26.
But I have to go lower with Final Drive ration. I hope that I will have enough place to install 78/32(4.14 ratio). Is it right?
Is it possible to buy a smaller spur then 78? I would like to go down to 3.81 ratio.

Hi Crypttos, OK you are saying a maximum of 110 teeth. In theory I think that should be consistent given any combiniation but I think it can vary by 1 tooth either way. Interestingly on 78 spur I have run 111 teeth and I am sure my maximum is 112 teeth, so I would have thought 78/32 would have been fine

I do not know if Xray have released additonal spurs below 78 but if not RW Racing have them below 78 and specially made for the 008.

It is interesting, I was trying spur 84 with 27 and I couldn't use it it is 111. Maybe is not possible with this type of motor. I can't to move more to side. I don't have 78 spur now, so I can't to test but if I understand you correctly. If its is maximum for me 110, it would be no different with spur 78...with this engine I have to count 110 again = 78+32. If I have to go down I have to buy smaller spur. 76/34 that I get 3.8. Thanks a lot for answer and for tip where I can buy it.
