Just a point of warning, if you undergear a motor it will get very hot as well! So you may find that gearing higher will actually keep the motor cooler. It all depends on the track size. If you are running on a larger flowing track you are probably undergeared... |

Don't forget that the gearing also depends on what size diameter tire your going to run. Are you running rubbers or foams that will be "trued" (cut) down to size? |

I run foams trued to 63mm. My rubber tires are about the same diameter. |
