I run my T2008 10 batteries and had to replace front belt and another 10 (total 20) to replace rear belt. Replaced front belt wont last for more than 10 batteries. First 8 batteries were with 38/16 pulleys. Anyone else has similar issues? |

The belts will wear more quickly with 38/16 and we are aware of this. It is also more sensitive to belt tension so you may want to try a bit tighter belt setting to solve the problem. However for asphalt I highly recommend that you use the 34/20 configuration which was supplied as an upgrade pack. It will give minimal wear and the handling characteristics are also a bit different, the car will be more reactive. With 38/16 the car is easier since it will give more traction but 34/20 will give more corner speed for sure. |
