This is the reason why i measure my droop as uptravel.
I use the blocks from hudy to make sure left and right are identical. I dont pay attention to the number or droop setting at this time.
Then i mount up my tires could be rubber 63mm or could be foam tires 55-61mm depending on the life of the tire. Only then do i look at the droop or uptravel. After doing the bench settings to ensure a tweek free ride i measure the ride hieght on a flat board. Then pull up on the shock tower to lift the chassis until the shocks are fully extended, holding the wheels to the ground. With my ride height guage i messure the distance of the chassis to the ground.
EXAMPLE:
5mm ride hieght
7mm ride hieght at shocks full uptravel
Droop=2mm or 2mm of uptravel.
Many people use this methode and its 100% transferable to other cars. That way when u ask a guy running chassis x,y or z what up travel he is running in the rear you can actually quickly change your car to match with only a ride height guage and your 2mm hex drive.
The Hudy setup guide that came with the FK actaully explains checking droop/uptravel in this manner.
