I find that using a fan does keep the motor more puchy towards the end of the race. There is little difference at the beginning. I have mounted my 5v fan using a cunningly dremmeled "L" section made from an old tape cassette case. It sounds naff (actually sounds really naff) - but the final installation is really pro looking. I have attached mine to the bulkhead where the brace runs accross - and like RCMike can swivel it up out of the way when I need access to other bits. I'll see if I can sort some pics out. |
