I have never heard of this type of problem before. Did you check the bearings (I don't mean the thrust bearing...)? I could imagine one of them not working ok. |

Hey Tony, yes, I checked them but they work absolutely fine. Right now I disassembled the diff again and inspected every part, but everything seems to be OK. Below I attached a photo I took of the thrust bearing and the two shims which lay next to them. The groove should be not to deep, or ? That is the most "critical" part, although I think it's absolutely normal. ______ How do I attach pictures ?^^ ______ What else could it be ? It's really like you can snap the diff in in different positions (f.e. like the "old" not stepless stereo systems where you have different positions for the loudness where the choosing button lightly snaps in -- I hope you know what I mean) but nothing of the differential is damaged... |
