I'm going to buy a new ESC and wonder what I should get. I'm currently looking on a LRP Quantum 2. Also on a LRP IPC V7.1 Any comments? Thanks Fred |

I have used the Quantum2 over the course of the past year. Definitely a good speedo. Recently I switched to the Robitronic speedo. This is also very good and seems to give a bit more punch. |

I would suggest that if you are running outdoors, consider a waterproof one. My son runs the Dominator, which is the same as the LRP2, but is waterproof (I think the LRP is supposed to be waterproof, but there are many accounts of it failing) The 7.1 is a bit old now, but at the right price it's a good ESC I have one as a spare in my pitbox. |

I'm now using Novak Brushless Super Sport System, it's really good in performance and no maintenance needed. Of course, this is a solution if you do not race. For brush motor, I suggest you to try the Novak GTX. |

I run a Keyence Zero V Extreme and love it. I switched from a GT7 which was junk compared to this thing. They do not sell them new anymore but they are available used for pretty cheap (Schumacher may have some new ones left). But the Rapida Pro from the same company is its replacement. They are almost identical. I think IR might be a little lower in the Rapida (different FETs). Schumacher and Speedtech RC both sell Keyence. |

LRP QC2, very good but don't use it in wet conditions without protection because it is NOT waterproof. |

Seems like I'm going with he QM2. Most response on that one ![]() Have no use for waterproof. I only race indoors. But LRP advertise that it should be 100% waterproof...... But more info is welcome. Does the Reactive Software really work? Thanks Fred |

at first i was using a quantum 2 but the switch wire pulled out and the speedo was shot... So i went to a gtx, a very sweet esc but not very durable. I got my quantum 2 back from LRP so i'm back with that but I'm very interested in the new Tekin..... |

Hi! Is not a popular one, but I'm using the Robitronic Spirit, since 3 years now. It's amazing is computer interface and how easy and flexible is program this unit. A special feature, you can see how many amps you managed, just connect the laptop to the esc. Pretty useful to see how you drive your power and how you "handle" the trottle. Amazing. |

Hi everyone,i will suggest the Nosram Dominator evolution or Lrp Q2 i used for 2 years robitronic spirit (really good) ko vfs 2000( explosive) , but since i have the Nosram Evolution speed controller (amazing) i found a lot more punch than robitronic and a bigger efficiency than Ko Vfs2000 Nosram is also good because it have an eye on board,it calculates by his self all the best to have maximum punch with a lot of efficiency |
