Am i to silly to build the Multi-Diff or are the 008 drive-shafts to long to fit with it ???? If i put the plastic caps onto the drive-shaft, it's to long and i can't assemble the suspension. What's the problem? |

What I did was to remove the thick spacer (stated in the instruction sheet) and replace it with some other manufacturer's 0.5mm washers. Hope it helps! Alfie |

Hi Flavio, personally I think you are misreading the situation. When the car was launched there were 3 potential problems. 1. The end connector bar on NiMh cells was or could catch against the pinion. That was easily to overcome and XRay issued a guidance note 2. The 2.375 IR was causing problems for some people with brushless motors achieiving their desired FDR. Xray issued a free upgrade kit to change to 1.7 IR 3. The front belt was catching on the pinion and wearing quicker than previously experienced. XRay issued a free update pack for that. Now you might question how those problems got through the testing net BUT XRay listened to its customers and issued the free upgrade packs very very quickly. Unfortunately for me, others at my local club are converting over to XRay having seen its chassis performance and engineering and build quality. We did not build our 1st 008 until January by which time the 1st upgrade pack had been issued (2.375 was never a problem for us - upgrade pack 2) and we have had 5 months trouble free and successful racing. |
