Hello everyone! I bought a T2’007 U.S. Edition a few months ago and never got to build it until now due to a very busy Fall, Christmas and January. This is my first graphite chassis car that I’ve bought (the previous cars that I have bought were tub chassis cars). I know how important it is to file the edges of the graphite chassis and to CA all the edges. The only thing is, I have a few questions before I start building my T2’007 kit:
1. How round do the bottom edges of the chassis have to be?
2. How do you file the front edge of the chassis when the holes for the composite bumper mount are so close the front edge?
3. When filing the battery slots, do you file the ends of the battery slots round?
4. Is it good practice to CA the edges on the other graphite items such as the top plate, rear top deck, the front and rear shock towers and the optional battery strap, graphite bumper upper holder and the motor guard.
5. What do you use to file these edges?
Could you please include some pictures of what you did when you are answering my questions. That would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
