XRAY - Model racing cars

Teamgp is probably on the right track ... most likely a set-up problem. With listing your set-up, you should also list the track that you are racing at (carpet, low-grip, etc.), as well as the class that you are running (mod, 19T, stock)?

I have found the front of both my X-Ray's (Evo2, FT) to be very stable - more-so then any other car that I have owned.

I tried the stock set-up and it worked as a great starting point for me for 19T carpet - rubber-tires, med-grip carpet.

I'm using the stock setup from the manual except for dark blue springs up front. Spec 19 motor on carpet with Take off CS22. Also went to stiffest dampning at front and softest at back. There are a few other guys at the track running the same car except one guy is running modified and they all seem to have the same wondery type of front end problem. They don't seem to mind this type of characteristic but I can see it is a problem for them even if they don't notice it. There is one or two corners on the current track set up that seem to really make it more noticeable. The first one is a medium fast open right hand 90 turn these guys are having a difficult time straightning the car out after the corner has already ended on they are already on the straight. The second is a slight right, left hand chicane where very minumul steering is required, you should be able to practically keep the car straight through this section. All the xray cars going through this chicane seem to be using up to much road. I'm not bashing the T1FK in any way, I love the car and it's potenial but I just would like to figure out what's causing this type of cornering behaviour.

sounds like your arms or ball cups are hanging ( or binding) this usualy happens to new kits if you don't shave the arms

the other thing is a cheap or standered servo maybe a bad one if it is a expensive one

the last would be a the ackerman spring come lose ( e-clip ) on the unit

i would check the arms first this has happend to me in the past
