the new diff was straight out of the packet not been ajusted or anything and it had the lump the lumps feels like the diff goes tight to turn for only a small amount and then goes free again as if there was a high spot on the diff plate a friend/engineer thinks that because they have been lightened it might be warping with heat hardly at all but enough to create the tight spot but surely the new diff hasnt had any heat unless it was when it was bieng machined |

Ihave 3 cars 8 diffs and this has never happened something you are doing is probably causing this take it too your LHS and have them rebuild it someone there will have lots of experience with diffs and they will pinpoint the prob. sometimes we just get stuck on a prob. and need someone else to point out our brain fart.
