Post subject: | Bearings and steering blocks problems |
Hello, I still have problems with the wheel bearings, even if i service them very often. Before the bearings are completely damaged and that I be able to realize the problem, they heat a lot and do melt the platic steering blocks or rear composite upright. I had that problem 2 times during the 3 last races ![]() To avoid changing the plastic steering blocks/rear composite upright the next time, i would like to buy the optionnal aluminium parts, but they are made with composite bushings that will probably melt in case of a new bearing problem... ![]() I would like to know the bushing dimensions (thickness and external diameter) because i would like to try to find bearings that would fit directly into the alum parts, removing the composite bushings. Can someone help me with these dimensions and maybee tell me if this solution could resolve my problem. Thanks for your help. |
