I've been looking at TonyV's "2007 base setup for asphalt" and I've got a general question based on what he's done.
For the sake of this post, lets assume that I've got my fore/aft weight distribution centered. that is, if I put my car on the balancing pegs, and those pegs on two scales on a level surface, I have the same amount of weight on each peg.
So, TonyV modified his front arms to bring the front and rear arms forward 2mm ; effectively sliding the entire chassis back 2mm.
It seems to me that that puts more weight over the rear of the car, less weight over the front of the car, but gives the front more 'leverage' on the fore/aft weight transfer?
I'm not clear on how to interpret or think about how this particular setup piece and how it effects the car. and straightening out and additional explanations on this would be great!
