Yeh, I've been looking for a while, Wish I had one for the Juniors on sunday

yea i could have done with one at the juniors, only did 5 laps all day and my practise times were in top half of A final

Never seen or used a rain cover, do they work or do you still need to waterproof?

Another racer in A final stock used a wet car, he had an undertray and overtray and got no considerable water inside. I would say that you wouldnt need too.

yea i was just gonna mention that !! you can coat the entire circuit as thats what most speedo companies do that say they have waterproof speedos !!

Well, they are waterproof when coated that way. But as you can see in the other thread coating the whole circuit board creates another problem with the speedos: heat. Silicone kit is not just an electrical insulator but a heat insulator as well. Speedos, with todays batteries and powerfull motors, don't particularly like that. Thankfully though heat is no problem with receivers so there is no downside to coating the circuit board of a receiver.

From a random thought rather than intensive research, I assume most of the water is coming up from underneath and from the wheels. Would it not be reasonable to cut a hole in the top of the inner body to allow the heat to dissapate?

suppose say u run those lovely coolcanfans and have double one !! cut neat hole around them and then that way your fans will still run whilst in the rain and as they spin they will stop mst of dirt nd water gettin through !!

but the rain covers arent tight fits so there is air gaps around for air to get in
