Hello everyone. I have a couple of quick questions. I was at rsj's in Illinois lastnight. When I was going down the straight my T1 came to a screeching halt. I thought it was the motor (monster stock) but it ended to be the layshaft bearing on the right bulkhead. She was TOASTED!! After years of R/C i've never had a bearing fail. Why did fry? Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks |

I think this must be Xrays only fault with the ammount of people with the same problem (me inculeded) Please Xray can you look into it as it is very annoying, espcailly when you taken FTQ and leading by 6seconds on the 11 lap when it decides to sieze with no warning, please Xray can you fix this

i heard that they only sieze up because their getting to hot..because your running them dry. people on other forums have had the problem because they ran the, dry...they replaced it and ran it with light oil and no problems so far.... |

It's just a matter of timely maintance and proper lubrication. I use a small drop of Tribo on my bearings every 2 or 3 weeks and haven't had a failure in 9 months of hard racing. |
